What happens if I have problems with my web site or tools?
Webincome’s support team is available by email or phone 24 hours
a day, seven days a week - even on holidays! If you have any
problems or questions, we can help. We are as close as your
phone or computer.
I hate getting “spam” – and I don’t want
to get even more when my web site goes online. What can I do?
At WebIncome, we are actively involved in helping our clients to
reduce the impact that the onslaught of unsolicited email is
having on businesses. We have software installed on our servers
to help manage this unwanted email, plus we show you ways to
reduce the unsolicited email headed for your inbox.
Do I need to purchase a domain name?
Our Platinum and Gold customers receive a free domain name for
one year with their package. At the end of your first year,
you'll need to renew and pay for your domain name registration.
Can I change plans once I've signed up? Do I have to pay the
setup fee again?
Yes, you may switch plans any time you like. Many of our
customers begin with a basic plan and move up to the Gold or
Platinum plan once they begin to actively market their site.
There are no setup fees when changing plans.
Can I cancel service at any time? Is there a fee?
Yes, you can cancel your hosting service at Webincome at any
time without paying a fee. All fees paid are non-refundable,
however.
Search Engine FAQ's
Why should I have you submit my site to the search engines?
Research shows that approximately 80% of the traffic on the
Internet is driven by search engines. If your site is not listed
by the search engines, it is highly unlikely that prospective

How Many Search Engines do you submit my site to?
With our manual and automated submission processes, your web site
will be submitted to approximately 1500 search engines and directories.
How soon does my site get submitted once I sign up with
WebIncome?
The timing varies. .) Some sites can begin submission in a few days,
others take much longer if they need to be optimized substantially
for the search engines. Depends on how soon your web site is ready
for submission (we review your existing site or build a site for
you and optimize it for search engine marketing.)
How soon does my site appear in the search engines?
Search engines and directories control their own databases. We
do not have control over this part of the process.
Your site could show up within 2-3 weeks, but the average is 6-8
weeks, with some taking 10 weeks or more (some search engines
take several months.) There has been a tremendous increase in
the time that it takes search engines to list Web sites in their
databases in the past few years. WebIncome does not guarantee
that your site will be placed on each search engine. Acceptance
rates vary by search engine.
Can you guarantee my site will get a “Top 20” position in the
search engines?
No! There are no "search engine secrets" that will guarantee a
top listing. But, there are a number of small changes you can
make that can sometimes produce excellent results. We work with
you and examine your site to make use of our continuing research
into search engine optimization.
What's the difference between Search Engines and Directories?
Search Engines:
Search engines, such as HotBot, create their listings
automatically. Search engines crawl the Web, then allow people
to search through what they have found.
Directories:
A directory such as Yahoo! depends on people for its listings.
You submit a short description to the directory for your entire
site, or editors write one for sites they review. A search looks
for matches only in the descriptions submitted. |
